White Hill Barn taking shape

Works have commenced on a highly sustainable new dwelling in the Meon Valley.

Despite a very wet winter, the twin wall timber frames have now been erected, the walls wrapped in a breathable membrane and the timber roof installed. In the photo above it is possible to see the structure lifted above the ground on low impact ground screws which have enabled the site to be concrete-free.

Windows are now being fabricated and the metal roof  commissioned. In addition, the final ground levels are now being formed.
